Rising Star: Stephanie Gibson
Posted on 8:36 AM by Unknown
There's a new actress in town. Her name is Stephanie Gibson and you can catch her for a hot second singing on a very recent episode of Up All Night. The scene takes place in a bar where Chris (Will Arnett) plans to propose to Reagan (Christina Applegate) to commemorate their wedding anniversary, because it's something he never got to do originally, as she had beat him to the punch. Gibson plays Singer #1 who starts a group rendition of Bonnie Tyler's "Totally Eclipse of the Heart." You can watch the episode here (It's actually pretty good, but you can also skip to Gibson's tiny stint halfway between the last two hash marks on the duration bar, if you can stand to sit through two sets of minute-long commercials.). Gibson has spent her career working the Broadway stage, most recently as one of the understudies for Brooke Shields' Morticia in The Addams Family. She also toured a few years ago as Judy in A Chorus Line. Crazy talented triple-threat, stunningly beautiful, lanky as Hell and incredibly down-the-earth, Hollywood would benefit by capitalizing on her skills as a performer.
